At the FIFA World Cup 2022, 64 matches will be played across 29 days. From November 20 to December 18, the FIFA World Cup 2022 will feature football’s best players across 8 stadiums in Qatar. As 32 teams from 5 confederations compete for the biggest prize in football. The Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022 is an event that will be remembered for years. 8 groups of 4 teams (A to H) have been formed, with the top 2 teams advancing to the knockout stage. The FIFA World Cup will feature 64 matches over 29 days. Thus making it the shortest World Cup in history with 32 teams.

There’ll be 4 matches played each day during the group stage except for the 1st 2 days. A round of 16 (Pre-Quarterfinals) is scheduled for December 3 for each of the 32 teams. The group stages will consist of 3 matches per team. Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor will host the inaugural match of the 2022 World Cup between Host Qatar & Ecuador on November 20, 2022. The defending champions, France, will face Australia at 12:30 AM IST on November 23. While the 5-time champions, Brazil, will face Serbia at the same time. The Indian time zone is 2 hours & 30 minutes ahead of Qatar’s.

FIFA World Cup 2022, Semi-Final & Final Itinerary

During the December 14 & 15 Semi-Finals, both games will kick off at 12:30 AM IST. Taking place at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on December 18, the Final will culminate with a thrilling showdown. Consequently, this will be the 1st time the FIFA World Cup will be hosted by a country from the Middle East outside of the typical June-July window.

Which Team will win the FIFA World Cup 2022 ?. Who’ll be the Player of the tournament ?. Which player will get the Golden Boot, Golden Ball & the Golden Glove award ?. Soccer Fans all over the globe are eager to find out the answers. My bet is on Argentina this time. It’s gonna be Argentina who’ll take the World Cup. This will be the last World Cup participation for Lionel Messi & Cristiano Ronaldo. Both are legends of this game. But, Lionel Messi will have the last laugh at this greatest show on Earth (World Cup 2022 in Qatar). That’s what I think. Let’s see & I hope I’m not wrong in my prediction.
