The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G comes with 6 GB of RAM & 128 GB of storage. The higher variant has 8 GB of RAM & the same 128 GB of storage. In addition to the Mystique Green color, the Galaxy M53 5G is also available in Deep Ocean Blue.
Display
The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is mainly made of plastic & feels sturdy, but not luxurious. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner is easy to access, but the volume buttons are not. The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is a large device that can be difficult to use one-handed. It has the same large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display as the Galaxy M52 5G, with a tiny hole at the top for the selfie camera. Galaxy M53 5G weighs 176 grams & is comfortable.
For a casual user, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G performs admirably. The crisp Super AMOLED display has good viewing angles & enough options to tailor the color profile to your preferences. The single speaker supports Dolby Atmos, but stereo speakers would have improved the experience. The gaming performance of the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is excellent. The battery life on the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G was adequate. With heavy usage, the 5,000 mAh battery easily lasted more than a full day.
Camera Features
On the back, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G has a quad-camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera & a 2-megapixel macro camera & a 2-megapixel depth camera. By default, the 32-megapixel selfie camera captured pixel-binned 8-megapixel photos. Daylight selfies had natural colors & the Portrait mode performed well with edge detection. In comparison, low-light camera performance was average.
Time for Verdict
The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G delivers great improvement over the Galaxy M52 5G. It has a premium appearance & capable hardware. The guarantee of Android OS & security updates is 1 of the main factors working in favor of the Galaxy M53 5G. The 6 GB RAM variant provides excellent value for money over the 8 GB variant. Given the phone’s price, Samsung should have included a 25W charger.
